HufZorb is a boot and herbal mixture duo that have been designed to treat various hoof ailments in horses. It eliminates the need to have multiple layers of vet wrap and duck tape whilst also allowing the the hoof to breathe.

Our specialist herb mixes have been created using herbs with specific medicinal properties to facilitate and aid in the healing of hoof ailments, whether that is on one hoof or all four. The herbal mixture is added inside the boot and soaked, to create a teabag effect. This is then placed onto the hoof, and the healing properties are naturally absorbed.

We recommend that each portion of the mix is used twice, you do this by re-soaking the herbs in the boot.

Our sizing chart has the measurements for you to work out which size your horse needs. The sizes are based on standard shoe sizing. ( eg your horses shoes are size 2 - you’ll need a size 2 Hufzorb )

Yes! All parts of the HufZorb can be purchased separately in our online shop!

Technically there is no harm in wearing the boot without the herbs, however it will not have any benefit.

Your horse can wear 1 or 4 boots at the same time it does not matter! However many hooves need treating, can be treated at the same time!

The boots can be re-used when needed until they show signs of visible wear and tear! At this point they will need replacing in order to effectively serve their purpose.

Hand washing is suitable if your boots need a rinse!

The boots are universal! They will fit on any hoof!

Nope! Water will slowly evaporate from the herbs over time, and they will eventually compress into a firm mould of the underside of the horses hoof. The herbs act in the same way that mud would pack into the hoof naturally so it will not cause excess pressure or discomfort.

Nope! The boot has been designed to be extra breathable to prevent any overheating, sweating or moisture building up. The boot has been designed to allow air flow.

Nope! The herbs are enclosed behind a layer of ultra fine mesh! They create a tea bag effect when soaked, so the benefits are literally absorbed through the mesh, the herbs themselves can not escape!

Of course they are! All of our herbal blends have been tried and tested are safe for horses. We have a non FEI compliant blend but this will always be well labelled when ordering!

Our herbs are all mixed here by us! They are tailored to treat various ailments. We do not sell any herbs separate to our pre made blends at this time.

The herbs are placed in a mesh pocket within the boot and soaked in water. Once on the hoof, this creates a teabag effect. The herbal water diffuses through the mesh and is absorbed directly into the horses hoof.

The smallest quantity of herbs we sell is 250g. We recommend using 25g portions per treatment, but these portions can be re-used twice by simply re-soaking and re-applying. So if you re-use your herbs twice, that is 20 treatments per bag!

We recommend storing your herbs in an air tight container somewhere dry.

Most of our mixtures are 100% FEI compliant, but we do offer one that is not. This will always be clearly labelled on our site so just be sure to double check before ordering!
